The International Tiki Face Off Competition
International Tiki Face-Off ChampionshipSome of the world's best bartenders and mixologists from London have challenged their American counterparts to a Tiki Face-Off Championship, featuring a series of rounds.

Synchronised drink making.
Teams will have to make their team Mai Tai to music simultaneously. Points will be awarded for the show and the consistency of the drinks.

Pin the rum on the island.
Both teams will be up together and will receive two rum brands that they must pin on the Island it comes from. A 10 second time limit per brand.

Relay speed round.
Team members will draw their drink from a hat and each team will be making the same drinks in the order they feel will be fastest. The first person from each team will go up and create their 4 drinks as quickly and cleanly as possible. Once the drinks are completed they will then leave the bar to tag their next teammate on.

The tiki faceoff.
Each team will have 10 to 15 minutes to present their original tiki drink to the crowd and the judges. This will be judged on the drink taste and of course the stage show.

Knowledge
This round will test the team’s knowledge about rum’s history and the world of tiki. The test to be written by the teams behind the scenes. This could be incorporated with the pin the rum on the island consumer competition.

The winning team will be crowed with glorious prizes and bragging rights as to the best tiki team in the world. The winners will also appear at London Frum Fest in October to defend their title.

Winner: the Bacardi UK Tiki Team!
