The Miami Rum Renaissance Festival is produced by Robert and Robin Burr of Quantum Leap Network, based in Coral Gables, Florida. Rum Renaissance has quickly become the world's largest gathering of rum experts, professionals and enthusiasts and host to the most prestigious blind tasting competition in the rum category.

This is the largest gathering of RumXPs—members of the international rum expert panel—among the world’s most prestigious rum festivals. At no other event in the world are more RumXPs in attendance.

Exhibitor Value
A standard 10 x 10 exhibit space at Rum Renaissance festival costs less than $4000, about 50¢ per qualified attendee. This is the most efficient and cost effective rum theme event in the western hemisphere and the premiere opportunity for rum brands and island lifestyle vendors to reach their specified target consumer audience as well as thousands of bartenders, F&B managers, liquor buyers and other trade professionals.

The RumXP International Tasting Competition
Rum products exhibited in the grand tasting event are entered into the RumXP International Tasting Competition. Prizes are awarded to the highest scoring products as judged in a blind competition by the most qualified group of rum judges in the world.

Rum Renaissance History - Celebrating 5 Years
2009 - The first Miami Rum Renaissance event was held at the Shore Club Beach Resort in May, 2009. More than 1,100 attendees sampled rums from 34 brands over the course of 7 hours, along with 5 VIP parties held throughout the week.

2010 - The 2010 Miami Rum Renaissance Festival was held at the Raleigh Hotel Beach Resort on Miami Beach. More than 1,900 rum enthusiasts from around the world enjoyed 49 brands of rum, with 7 outstanding VIP parties throughout the week.

2011 - The 2011 Rum Renaissance festival attracted more than 4,600 attendees over two days of grand tasting with 54 rum brands taking 12,000 square feet of space, in addition to 9 VIP parties during the seven day event.

2012 - The 2012 Miami Rum Renaissance Festival doubled in size again, featuring more than 20,000 square feet of exhibits, more than 75 rum brands on display and attendance exceeding 8,000 rum enthusiasts, professionals and experts from around the world.

2013 - The next Miami Rum Fest will start with a new venue featuring more than 40,000 square feet of exhibit space, doubling the previous year's size. With greatly expanded parking, new hotel rooms, a special VIP section, a larger stage, more food venues and many more rum exhibits, we're expecting 12-15,000 rum enthusiasts and professionals to attend.
